Mary Bachran, PsyD
Mary Bachran received her doctorate in clinical psychology in 1997 from the California School of Professional Psychology. Prior to her work at TEDX, she served as a supervisor for the Great Start Family Visitor Program, and was Director of Outpatient Services and Quality Assurance at Southwest Colorado Mental Health Center. She has published in The Family Psychologist, and has a book chapter on psychological testing with ethnic minorities.
Currently Dr. Bachran works analyzing the environmental and health impacts of the chemicals and products found in the development of oil and natural gas. She also maintains a database of all the studies on bisphenol A exposure at less than 1 part per million and quarterly updates and analyzes the data. She is particularly interested in the impacts of chemicals on the brain and behavior and is working on collecting information on the development of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder due to prenatal exposures.
